A: Hello, my name is Alex. What is your name?
B: My name is Sam. Nice to meet you.
A: Nice to meet you, too. I am learning English.
B: How can I help?
A: Could you speak more slowly, please?
Reflection: Which phrase feels easy? Which would you like to practise with a teacher?
Mark each task as “comfortable,” “need practice,” or “new to me.” This is a self-review, not a certification assessment.
Write down a task you do often, what is difficult, and what you would like to do independently. Bring that example to your introductory call without including passwords or confidential records.
Confirm the total fee, minimum charge, taxes, extras, deadline, revision scope, and cancellation terms. For an official submission, ask the receiving institution what translator qualifications and certification it requires.
Keep the initial enquiry general. Request and verify appropriate transfer instructions before sending sensitive files. Do not use a public sharing link or include identity documents, account passwords, or payment-card information in the website form.
